Goldmark Healthcare Services was founded by Ms. Maureen Parkes, a Nurse Practitioner, out of her passion for serving clients—particularly those of Caribbean heritage—who lack health insurance and need accessible, compassionate care.
This mobile practice provides primary care and weight‑management services through both telehealth and in‑person visits, serving adults 18 years and older in Florida and Arizona. Goldmark Healthcare Services operates primarily as a cash‑based practice, but Medicare insurance is also accepted. English is the only language spoken at this time.
Meet Maureen Parkes DNP, APRN, NP-C
My love for nursing began in Third Form/Grade nine at St. Hugh’s High School, where I first learned the word Fidelitas—loyalty. That single word shaped my character and has guided every aspect of my personal life and professional journey. I began my nursing career as a Registered Nurse after completing my training at the University of the West Indies School of Nursing, Jamaica, graduating in 1995. This foundational experience marked the start of a lifelong commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care. Over the years, my clinical expertise has spanned emergency nursing, midwifery, medical‑surgical care, home health, and case management. My family and I migrated to the USA, where I continued my nursing journey.
Driven by a passion for advancing patient outcomes, I later became a board‑certified Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care across diverse clinical settings. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Informatics and an MSN in Nursing Administration, reflecting my commitment to both clinical excellence and healthcare systems leadership.
In 2023, I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Chamberlain University, graduating with distinction. My doctoral work focused on obesity management, reinforcing my dedication to preventive care and chronic disease management. My >30 years of diverse clinical and academic background allows me to approach patient care from a holistic, outcomes‑driven perspective. I remain deeply committed to supporting individuals and communities through thoughtful, informed, and collaborative healthcare.
